It's spelled Deuce, it is sort of supposed to remind you of "Deuce Coupe" which was a 32 Ford hot rod, all modified by chopping the top, lowering it, etc. Sort of fits, I guess.

Oh man, neither one, really would be a very good first car. I'd get something new enough to have airbags and ABS and at least front disc brakes. The ones you are considering are really just too archaic for a first car.
