Stop contributing to the conflict. If you hate him, and he realizes it, how do you expect him to feel? If you had a choice of being around someone who didn't cause fights and trouble, and being around someone who lies and is disrespectful, would you pick the jerk?

It sounds like neither one of you is mature enough or responsible enough to be married. It doesn't take much to fight. All you have to do is think you are 100 percent right and the other person is wrong. And hold your ground. Only a fool would want to stay in a relationship that is nothing...

Any lawyers out there? My guess would be that if she has a very good attorney, and he doesn't, she might get it. But it probably depends on the laws in the state in which they live.
