How do I do that? Under Settings, Personal, Home Screen, E-mail notification I tried setting up a couple of mailboxes with Visibility and Show Message details on. I do not get any notifications in the horizontal bar.

That's one way to look at it, but before Nokia where accused for not giving updates and at least now they are. Samsung being one good example where they could probally do wonders with i8910 if they would keep optimizing the OS for the HW, but it haven't really been their strong point.

There's around 30 Symbian^1 phones either announced or already in the market. Does that number seem way high to you? That's because most of those are being sold in Japan. Nokia won't be alone with Symbian^3 phones even if Samsung or SE stop making them.

I am a power phone use for business (4-6k minutes/month) and email user. I love almost everything about the iphone except for the service - ATT dropping too many calls in the cities i travel to (NYC in particular). Probably need to switch back to verizon but till now their phones have sucked...
