    what amp do i need for rockford fosgate t1?

    i just bought a rockford t1 12" sub. it is DVC 2-ohm. i am only wiring one so what power amp do i need to push it. It says it is rated for 800 rms. So do i need an amp that does 800 at 4ohms because of the dual 2 ohm or what? i just don't get it. thanks

    rockford fosgate t1 2 ohm vs 4 ohm?

    If i am powering just one rockford fosgate t1 with a 1000 watt amp which is better, 4 ohm or 2 ohm?
