I went ahead and ordered a new one off of ebay (something like $15 shipped) and it works, but I broke the head off of one of the screws and broke a piece of the plastic inside also...

    Is it something like the lines on my homescreen?? Cause sometimes I notice these lines and sometimes I swear they are not there. They go away when I am in different programs though. Are your blanked out lines always blanked out??
