    "they changed the brake fluid and bled the system, then changed the master cylinder" - well, that's pretty comprehensive. If that doesn't fix it, you have expensive problems. They should be able to test the modulator. But, W reg? Not worth spending much money on it. Check the wheel cylinders...

    Take it back to factory with the disks you made or the restore partition If it works after a factory restore, its something you did. If it still fails, its hardware - back to the shop for a refund.

    If Sal UKs suggestion fails, try turn key to position 1 in the ignition and then turn it to position 2 and back to position 1, 4 times in 6 seconds, the 'lights on' chime will sound, and the car immobiliser LED (above the clock) will stay on, then take the key out of the ignition and press one...
