On mine its left of the steering wheel, almost behind the signal light switcher/arm lol. Its a dimmer switch you just spin it up or down. The switch to the right of the headlight switch in the picture.

Well its probably because you put your amp power cable and your rca wires on the same side of the car. You have to put your rca cables on one side and your amp cable of the other. If you don't you will get interference in the sound. Try that, its an easy fix.

Yes if you put a full 3" exhaust from the CAT back then you will add a few hp, mind you it wont really be anything amazing but you can add a few hp by adding an exhaust. Note: If your just adding an exhaust tip to make it sound loud, no you wont see any power gains.

yes the make 4 door sunfires. You can easily take a radio(deck) out and change it. How smooth they run all depends on miles on the car and how the previous owner drove the car.
