I have been suffering from GI problems (e.g. slow digestion, pain in th abdomen, burning snesation in the abdomen, but no heart burn), in addition, a sore, phlemy throat, red looking like chronically inflamed, with a salty tase in the mouth....
my GI doctor prescribed me Nexium to take daily once, then twice for 4 months now ....i have yet to feel better, even just to a point i can deal with it , but no...horrible coz it gives me cluster like headache and pain the sumandibular galnd.
i am now on Protonix...but are those PPI really solve the source of the problem ? any similar experiences....
Just to let everyone know, yes I have done a EGD with microscopic culture screenign as wells as biopsy, came negative, no H.I pylori. I've done a CT scan with dye, came negative.
Allergies dont cause headache that spreads out from the wall of the throat to my simus. a very wired headache like my throat is swollen. i also have done AgG test for wheat allergies, negative.
I'm at a loss.
i feel like it's salivary gland problem that causes all this because the pain feels like it emenate also from there, plus the salty mucos which maybe the cause of the irritated throat.
