I've read the book before I saw the movie, and I had read so many great comments about the book that I expected more from it. There were some great parts in the book but overall I expected it to be better.
And I had the same problem with the movie, some cute moments but in general the movie was just okay and not that special.

This movie was so amazing. I can't decide if I can watch it again though. It was quite upsetting. But adorable, nonetheless. I absolutely adore Gerry B. so I had to go see it. :)

Does anyone have the soundtrack to the movie? All the songs were so good! :)

I saw this movie in theaters because Cecelia Ahern is by far the best writer ever, I have read all of her books and loved each and everyone of them so I was totally excited for the movie but all in all compared to the book, the movie wasn't very good. I can't say I hated it but I was definitely not impressed with it. So yes if you haven't seen the movie yet, i'd watch that first instead of reading the book because well the movie was excellent if you have yet to read the book, the movie sorta destroyed the book in my opinion, I don't know why but I honestly just didn't like that they changed practically everything =/

Hey everyone
I just saw this movie, and I could not keep the tears from flowing down my face all the way through, such a touching story :bawl:

Thanks.

When he told me it was the night I came back from vacation. I was gone for three weeks in Australia because my cousin got married. I was so happy to see him but then he tells me he only has a week before leaving and it really sucked.

I'm slowly dealing though. I'm not miserable but I'm not on top of the world either. I'm in between.

When I saw the scenes between Holly and Gerry, it reminded me of something me and Lucian would do. When they first meet they just clicked. They were so cute together! Another thing about me and Lucian and movies when we see a movie we both really love, we do this role playing game, pretending we're part of the movie and stuff. It's so much fun.

We're still together but at the same time not. We did agree that if one of us met someone we would support each other. But nothing is set in stone so if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't.

I'm glad Holly finally got her life back on track. She turned out okay and with time I think I will too. :)

I dont know why actually. I know when I watch a good film. It was a good synospis but... I did not want to cry or anything, just watching another film.

I LOVED James Marsters in it! He was so cute! Such a chick flick but went and so this for a good cry. Thanks for the Welcome my nanny helped me onto this place.

I saw it last night and I absolutely loved it.

Of course, as a 'Friends' fan I gotta say that Lisa Kudrow was amazing in it. :D Denise totally cracked me up.

[sp]The scene where she hits on all the men in the bar is hilarious.

"Nice tie."
"Thanks."
"Are you single?"
"Yes."
"Are you gay?"
