My very modest collection of anime, but very much alive and growing :D

I don't have any pictures of my collection nor a digital camera readily available, so I'll encourage everyone to imagine what this might look like if everything was placed on a shelf. I might have more anime if I didn't buy so much music, but I have to keep my priorities straight.

Wow crion, good job! I wish I had a lot of money that didn't require an actual job , but seriously, this what I've been able to conjur up within the last 3 or so years soley using what I made off of house chore allowances and ocassionally starving myself when going to friends' houses :P.

Most of those boxes only have one DVD in them, but about 12 of them are full. It's not much, but I'll continue to work on it .

I have two "shrines" and two shelves of DVD and VHS tapes.

CardCaptor Sakura Shrine

This little collection has:
- 2 sealed packs of Dechipher's CardCaptor Sakura TCG, with a few cards on display;
- Playmates' CardCaptor Sakura Clow Book, which includes more CLAMP-illustrated cards than are seen in the manga and anime;
- Card Hunter Sakura 2, imported from Japan.
- (not all visible) All 12 CardCaptor Sakura mangas, the first 6 left-to-right and the last 6 right-to-left
- (not visible) five VHS tapes of the CardCaptor Sakura Japanese Uncut anime

Magic Knight Rayearth Shrine

A very tiny corner where I have, from left to right:
- Magic Knight Rayearth DVD Memorial Box Season 2
- Magic Knight Rayearth DVD Memorial Box Season 1
(- Rumiko Takahashi Anthology Vol. 1 and Box, just because my shelf is getting way too full.)
- Rayearth OVA

DVD Shelf
- Front of Shelf
- Center of Shelf
- Back of Shelf

VHS "Vertical" Shelf
- Front of Shelf
- Center of Shelf
- Back of Shelf

Miscellaneous Other DVDs (I had these on a table next to the computer that I was using for AMV material, including R.O.D. The TV, Steel Angel Kurumi complete, and my collection of Neon Genesis Evangelion.)

Sir Brass, what's the series behind your smaller red Gundam? The one that goes onto the gundam's right side.

Man, awesome collections. In the las year I finally got a job, and most of that money went to ps2/computer/my room. But this is definitely a way to sell anime =P. They should let you put your own pictures of your stuff in places that sell anime to entice other people to buy more I think, hah. It seems to be working well with everyone reading this thread.

Couldn't have said it better myself. This thread makes me want to go and (sadly) buy more anime!! now!! it would serve great as a marketing ploy. Really a good diea!

plus, it reminds me why I don't download; because, the boxes (once many are together in a collection) look cool, plus it just feels better to own it than bootleg/download it, you know what i mean?

Box sets usually stand pretty good on their own. I don't know the climate where you are at, but it has been my experience that you should stand DVDs and CDs on their bottom edges (as your others are) to avoid warping due to heat/humidity.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get all of mine together in one spot. Maybe I'll do multiple pictures?

Right now, since those boxes are empty, they actually sit on at the bottom of the shelves, I just put them up there to take a picture of them. The shelves I have aren't conducive for efficient boxset usage, so they sit empty. I've been thinking of building some DVD's shelves without those annoying middle boards that you see my shelves have.

The climate here in Northern Louisiana is humid, but since they are inside, the dorms here on Barksdale AFB have good, but not great A/C.

That picture above this post, is that a bootleg or a R2 DVD of AIR?

I must saying that I'm very green with envy at some of you however I can say I have a decent collection at least. Although the majority of it is VHS cause I'm a rather old school anime fan.

I know I have more but I can't remember all of it off the top of my head I'm going to have to go home and look

Guys, the purpose of the post was to show a picture of your anime collection. Nobody cares for a list of anime because it's boring, plus it's against the rule.

Hello everyone :D ! Ironically enough, this is my first post here, but I just had to post my collection. The pictures are only missing 4 titles: Berserk Season 1 brick, Gankutsuou vol 1, Hellsing vol 1, and Samurai 7 vol 4. Hope you enjoy my pictures (I just took them 15 minutes ago  ).

YIKES!! 8O 8O
After looking at those collections, I'm both jealous and drooling at the same time. Well....maybe someday I'll have a collection at least half the size of them.

I know that I don't have many DVDs, but I thought I could be a representitive of the good Manga collection here. (I do have some DVD, they are on the upper left corner of the first image... I have way more now though.)
