The government cannot do anything correctly. ANYTHING.

It terrifies me that there are some people willing to put them in charge of certain things without thinking twice.

WE'LL KEEP OUR BOOT ON THEIR NECK....and demand what exactly we don't know...but WE'LL HAVE OUR BOOT ON THEIR NECK!!!!

while people are complaining, you should realize there is still oil leaking from oil components offshore from when Katrina and Rita destroyed MULTIPLE platforms in the gulf... but obviously none of you morons care about that.

How is it that in 2000 the MMS deems them "essential", Norway has required them since the early 90s and so on. Then in 2003, after Cheney has come in and gutted and then repopulated MMS, they're deemed ineffective and too costly?

Too costly? Pretty cheap insurance policy if you ask me.

Jindal is PISSED about this... he's been on the ball (and on the news) every single day morning and night keeping everyone updated. He's no Kathleen Blanco

Obama is busy taking bids from companies with no experience cleaning something like this up but have donated to Democrats before.

ummm.... I just mentioned two other wells being setup to help reduce wellhead pressure.

but that doesnt mean we can't be friends

why can't we be friends, why can't weee be friends

He SHOULD be pissed. I agree 100% with everything he's said.

To some extent, I can see how the Obama administration is trying to let private enterprise handle their own problems, but it's too late. They need to take the reins, fix the problem, and send BP the bill.

the people in power are there because of MERIT, i feel totally safe in their hands
