DO ALL METRO PCS' FLASH PHONES?

So i really want to sign up with Metro PCS in New Jersey, and have read numerous people stating that Metro PCS flashes phones from tons of different carriers. I have a verizon phone, which i love and want to get flashed, but when i took into the MetroPCS dealer today - he said he couldn't do it, and that they don't do it...??? WTF??

Does anyone know where i can get my phone flashed for Metro PCS in New York or New Jersey? I don't want to spend money buying one of there overpriced phones.

I was told that flashing will be working in a month or so in Jersey...
