When Zoo's first started, part of the rationale was that it exhibited these caged animals as a way to educate the public about what is out there in the world. With the internet now, you can find a multitude of pictures, documentation and video footage of more animals then could ever be housed at any one Zoo. Is it time to stop caging these animals?
