My career goal is to become a veterinarian technician at a zoo because I would love to work with the large variety of animals. I know it is a competitive field so I was wondering if I should go to a four year vet tech program then? I don't know if it is necessary because I noticed there aren't as many bachelor's (4 year) degrees as Associates (2 year) degrees on the list of accredited programs on the AVMA website. Also, I would like to know a few of the "best" or more well known veterinary technician programs in the United States? You know, the ones that will make them say "Oh she went THERE. She must be good. Let's hire her!"
