zoloft and lexapro?

I took zoloft 25 mg for one week then started 50 mg for 4 weeks. I got so many side effects like heightened anxiety for 2 weeks and then always headaches, fatigue, muscle pain, increased pulse, among others.

Now my psych wants to switch me to lexapro starting at 10mg up to 20mg. She wants me to take lexapro 10 mg the first day then 10 mg lexapro and 25 mg zoloft the next day and then lexapro 10 mg the next day and then 10 mg lexapro and 25 mg zoloft the next day etc for a week and then wean off zoloft completely.

So scared!

I remeraber taking zoloft before and disliking and doing better on lexapro. Hopefully it is the same this time.

Sigh. hopefully SOMETHING works. ANYTHING.

how long does lexapro take to work? 6-8 weeks too??
 
Yes it takes about 6 weeks or so for full effects of lexapro. It has truly helped me!
 
I remeraber it greatly helping me in the past. It is just waiting for it to kick in that is agony! I'm crossing my fingers though that it will truly help me. Thank you.
