I saw this film in the states about 8 years ago and remember it being quite funny - bit of a sherlock holmes rip off.

I actually thought it had the legs to have a few sequels.

I'm interested to revisit it - but can't seem to find it on dvd (european version)

Does anyone remember it, any clues how to track it down?
 
I remember that. Great film.. co-starred Ben Stiller if I remember correctly. It flopped/got overlooked but is a little gem. If you've got a multi-region DVD player you can get a Region 1 import on eBay here or on PlayUSA here although I'm sure there many other retailers who also stock it. There is alos a VHS version on Amazon. Sadly no Region 2 DVD release to date.
