Zelda in Widescreen?

Do I need a widescreen tv or what? can I play in letterbox? I don't seem to see the option anywhere, nor any mention in the book

there is settings for 4:3 (standard tvs) and 16:9 (widescreen)
whatever your select your tv will stretch the screen to fit the tv
just like dvd movies

you must have a 16:9 tv, or at least a 4:3 tv that can resize a 16:9 signal. i have a 4:3 tv and i have to play zelda in fullscreen
