z105 usb cable

Hello, i've purchased a usb cable for unlocking the z105 but it doens't have com port connection, only the usb connection. I've read that you need both com and usb for unlocking but is it possible for unlock with this cable i have? Thanks
 
U need this driver for your cable: USB PL-2303 Driver (search to download)
It makes a fake com port for usb cable

instal drivers first.short the pin 2 and 3 in your computer serial com working 100%.

-You can also build your usb PC_to_Phone Cable,using S100 connector.
-If your computer have a serial port ( for example COM1), take any femal db9 connector , short circuit pin2 and pin3 and connect this "dongle" to COM port.
-Connect 105/Z107 with your USB cable ,power on it ,Windows will ask you the drivers , select the folder who contains drivers ( Z105/Z107 use same drivers).
- you should have software Winimei Version 1.16(Qualcomm write System)

- Be sure you see on screen a symbol of top screen (means you have modem on)

-Check Modem port, use the one you says ON USE

- In Winimei press Unlock

Will also solve freezing problem.

Thanks for the answers but i still can't unlock the phone. I installed some drivers (cdma drivers and the ones lion box gave me above) on winxp, but as soon as i connect the phone to the computer it says it doesn't recognise the usb device that was connected. I've tried several times by reinstalling the drivers but the same happens. Maybe my cable needs some others drivers ( because it's only usb), or maybe the dirvers don't function correctly on xp? By the way, i didn't tried that thing about shorting the pins,but it really doesn't matter for now because the computer doesn't even recognise the phone..... or does it matter? Sorry for the trouble
 
You need original samsung cable or cable with original samsung schematic to unlock z105, cheap *******s using wrong pinout will give you problem and ask for the cable driver and not the phone driver.

Once you have right cable search forum for z105 unlock. Once you have software short pins, i think 2/3 or maybe 3/4 on com port and then run win imei and just press unlock.
