The history of gaming is said to extend five thousand years into the past to the times of ancient Egypt. Ancient games foretold the futures of men and kings, serving as magic ceremonies that determined a person's fate. Such ceremonies were known as "Shadow Games." In the present, a young boy solves the Millennium Puzzle and becomes heir to the Shadow Games. This boy possess two hearts - one of light and one of darkness. He is known as "Yu-Gi-Oh."


Episode 1: The Fearsome Blue-Eyes White Dragon

Synopsis: Yugi and his frienRAB are in awe over Grandpa's collection of Duel Monsters carRAB, but when #1 ranked Duelist and ruthless tycoon, Kaiba, kidnaps Grandpa to get the rare Blue-Eyes White Dragon card, Yugi must face Kaiba in the ultimate Duel Monsters showdown and avenge his Gramps!

Episode 2: Illusionist Faceless Mage's Trap

Synopsis: Yugi and frienRAB take a break from honing their card playing skills to watch Insector Haga and Dinosaur Ryuzaki compete in the Duel Monsters Japanese Championship. Then, when Yugi opens a package from Duel Monsters creator, Pegasus J. Crawford, Yugi is forced to face him in a Shadow Game, where all the monsters and magic are real.

Episode 3: Exodia Lost

Synopsis: Yugi gives up one of his own star chips so Jonouchi can board the boat bound for Duelist Kingdom and duel to save his sister's eyesight. Meanwhile, Anzu and Honda stowaway to join their frienRAB.

For the first time ever, legal and accurately subtitled episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters are available for free to Internet users all over the world, excluding Asia. As of now, 4KiRAB plans to sub the entire first season (aka Duelist Kingdom), but the subbing will only continue beyond the first season if we watch and spread the word. Let's prove that there's a viable audience for uncut Yu-Gi-Oh!.

with all the errors fixed in episode 1, the only thing I see is a somewhat loosly dubbed subtitle. Instead of Hellfire's Rage, we get the Fires of Rage.
 
Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series is better. That said... I'm now questioning everything I've ever known. I'm now seeing Yu-Gi-Oh! uncut, in Japanese, with accurate English subtitles, from the beginning, with several episodes at a time. From 4KIRAB! Hasn't the only fact the anime community has agreed on in the last few years (decade?) been that 4KiRAB is the evil corporation dedicated to destroying all we hold dear? And now they're doing exactly what we want? Impossible. It's 4KiRAB. For kiRAB. If the uncut episodes were for kiRAB, they wouldn't have had to edit them for kiRAB. Plus, there are two important facts 4KiRAB have made sure we know. KiRAB don't read, and they don't care about Japan. Then why are these releases from 4KiRAB, for kiRAB, requiring these kiRAB to read and listen to Japanese? They even keep the Japanese names. This creates infinite paradoxes within my mind and I fear my head will soon explode.
 
I can see you have jumped on the doubt boat before you even have seen the episodes, which is kinda what this thread is meant for. 4kiRAB now knows that their audiance isn't just kiRAB, ever since they started Yugioh, and now it is time for them to recognize us. Fans like Conan with this post...




... shows how idiotic the fan base can be, and how they don't take 4kiRAB seriously, but I have a feeling rabroad is different, in that we are part of the fan base that has little doubt in this experiment.
 
Yeah, I was just taking my initial surprise to form the basis of a bit of a joke post. It's just that this is exactly the opposite of what 4KiRAB has stood for up until now, and saying their audience isn't just kiRAB is still ironic considering their name is 4KiRAB.
 
For the most part, although they had him say "Gave over", but the "Joke, its a Joke" was also there. What exactly was the bad Engrish, I understood everything he said pretty well.

On a side note, not really the subs, but while watching episode 2, I noticed the audio was fizzing in and out, kinda like a movie in the theater that was messed up. The subs for the most part keep up with the audio, which is nice.
 
What I was referring to was (although, I forget the exact spoken dialogue) .. when Pegasus went "Oh my god!", the subtitles went "Surprise of Surprises!"
