I live in the far north, thunderstorms happen in the summer, blizzards in the winter.
I know the whole idea was to get so and so stranded in a storm (Adam and Sharon), but a heavy snow storm would have been more appropriate (happens all the time on soaps). I think the californians who produce the show got their climactic conditions somewhat askew.
(if they want the show to take place in California, put it in Califirnia for Chrissake)
Ok, so I have seen lightning in far north winters, but under very extreme, strange, AND VERY RARE, conditions. (with heavy rainfall, NAH.)
