Okay, what I'm talking about here would be an ordinary, standard matchplay leg of darts, but played in a correspondence style (over email, or postal service, that sort of thing - in this particular instance, I'd be recommending email).
I understand that there would be the issue of trust, but I would hope that, in the interests of a fun, fair, leg of darts, we'd be able to trust that each other told the truth about what they scored.
Obviously the two people playing would need to own a dart board.
I'm asking, as I do own a dartboard and I'm rather sick of not having anybody to play with. There's only so may times you can play against yourself.
Would anybody else be interested in trying this?
I doubt it would go well enough but, if it did, I'd also be interested in possibly trying a small tournament (possibly here on Y!A), if enough people were interested.
So, yeah, would anybody like to try this sometime?
I'd also like to add that I'm most upset that there isn't a darts section, here on Answers.
