YouTube only showing basic HTML?

I'm not exactly sure what to call this, but the YouTube homepage looks like it's just basic HTML, no images and everything is on the left side of the page. I can watch videos and the audio is fine, but the rest of the page is generic looking like the homepage.

Is it my browser or YouTube? How can I fix this?
I obviously don't know much about code. I'm sorry if that sounds like gibberish, I don't know how else to explain it.

I forgot to mention there is an ad banner at the top of the page as well. It works just fine. Flash, maybe?

Everything is up to date
All other websites are functioning correctly.
I recently changed a setting to remove cookies when I close FireFox. I set it back and nothing changed.
I clean up my computer every couple weeks: Updates, Spybot, temp files, defrag; all the basic stuff. I don't change settings when I don't understand their function.
When I go to http://www.youtube.com/user/elsteffo it says, "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player." But they're all up to date and running properly.
