Ok mine was during a surprise party for my mom where I catered for about 15 people (all family members and close friends).
I had planned to make icecream, pudding and milk sweet (an indian delicacy made by evaporating milk to form a solid..), and had bought all the ingredients, got online/book tips, etc.
Ok so on the day,
1. The ice cream didn't set
2. I forgot to add sugar and flavoring to the pudding (!)
3. I had half a bowl of milk but it left behind only a square inch of sweet!
So everyone ended up drinking the ice cream, using the pudding as a side dish to sweet and sour dip (the pudding was tastless!!) like bread, and we all cut up the tiny sweet into 16 pieces!!
It was a funny day though, after the intial pang of disappointment!
it's 100% true!!
@boo-boo-kitty: Ahh that's not nice of him!
I even swallowed a 'soup' make by my kid cousins (<8 years old) from a mickey mouse book, because I didn't want to hurt their feelings!!
