*- Your TOP ~CHRISTMAS~ movies! -*

Hey guys!

Looking to add some Christmas DVRAB to my collection for this year, I just wondered what your top movies for the holiday were,.. give me a few ideas of a few to purchase!

Personally I love (and have!)
- Home Alone 1 + 2
- The Polar Express
- Santa Clause: The Movie
- The Santa Clause 1 + 2
- The Grinch
... I guarantee these will get me in the Christmas spirit, so I HAVE to watch them at least once!

& I also love
- Miracle on 34th Street
- Jingle All The Way
- Bridget Joneses.. for some reason!

Though the ultimate Christmas film for me is: ~ THE SNOWMAN~ - so amazing! :)

What are your top films?! Any more I should see/purchase?!

I've never seen 'Its A Wonderful Life' either - so gonna make the effort to watch it this year :) I remember it being voted the best ever Christmas film on some Channel 4 countdown last year.. might give it a whirl! :)

Home Alone 1 and 2 were always my faves when I was a kid.

I absouletley love:

Scrooge (Albert Finney version)
A Christmas Carol (George C Scott version)
and
A Christmas Carol (Alastair Sim version)

Cue people complaining it's too bloody early for Christmas talk...:p

I agree on the Home Alone films, those are the only Christmas-sy films I watch really and really like. Most of the others - Jingle all the way, Santa Clause, The Grinch etc. are pretty crappy but I just watch them because it's Christmas time. Oh, I quite like Love Actually now, will be annual Christmas watching for me I think.

What no National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation?

"We're going to have the hap-hap-happiest time since Gene Kelly tap danced with Danny 'dancin' Kaye!"

:D

Holiday Inn
White Christmas (remake of Holiday Inn !)
Trading Places
Gremlins
It's a Wonderful Life
Muppets Christmas Carol
Some Like it Hot (I've no idea why :) )
Bad Santa
