Hi my son is 5 weeks old, he sleeps fine at night waking every three hours for a feed. The day time is a different story, he won't be put down in his bouncer or crib and just screams the place down. This means I get nothing done during the day! he will fall asleep in my arms and I can be holding him an hour fast asleep, as soon as I place him down he crys. I have checked he's not got a dirty nappy, is well fed etc and left him to cry. The maximum time I've left him is 20 minutes before I've picked him up. He soon settles down again when picked up. It gets to the point where by mid afternoon he is so overtired he just crys for hours. Any help or suggestions? (he has plenty of stimulation, play mat,talking,singing etc he is a very inquisitive baby)
