Your first Motorcycle???

Interesting how many of us started our love affairs with Hondas, and reflect nostalgically the bikes and how much we learned.

Maybe we ended up riding the piss out of our Ducs because we're chasing those first experiences of freedom and speed? Kinda like the meth addict chasing the first high.

'94 red Suzuki RF 900RR. First big bore. Others were small 50/100/125cc bikes. All fun though.
 
My first was a 1991 Suzuki GSXR 750
Then in this order:

Ducati 749R
MV Agusta F4 1000R Black
MV Agusta F4 1000R Red/Silver
Desmosedici

I'm hoping to buy a new yamaha R1 for the track and screwing around with.
 
aside from the honda xl 250 I tooled around on for a short while, my first bike(owned) was the 1986 Yamaha FZ600S which I got as a sophomore in college in 1986.

cant remember what it was, but started to play on dirtbikes with my younger brother waaay back in the late 70's..then took it up again in '83 at age 22yrs..
first bike of my own was an xt250..got licensed on that baby..(not my xt pic below)
then soon after, picked up a katana 750 to ride to work on, and a ducati 500 pantah, to ride on weekend rides with the ex hubby on his darmah....
bloody hell thats a long time ago....47 yrs old now and 6 ducati's later...and lovin the 848
not many of us womens on bikes(let alone duc's) back in those days
 
My 1st bike was a 1989 gsxr750. Crashed it 2 months later right after I told my friend "look how good I am around this turn." We were both on our way to DMV so he could get his MC license. LMAO!!!!
