Your First Anime?

the first few animes i saw were sailor moon,card captors,pokemon and DBZ,the first proper one i watched was excel saga, first manga i read was alice 19th vol 1 and 2
 
I cant really remember what the first anime I ever saw. I do remember, however, the first anime I ever completed, and subsequently got me hooked, on animes.. and that anime my friends, was Tenchi Muyo, the first one, not that universe show or the tokio one..

we are talking about Laser disc days here.. my uncle had a big collection of animes, and the pretty covers of the laser discs caught my attention, which made me watch the anime, which then made me an anime fan.. and since then i`ve seen a few other animes that have made me appreciate the magic that many of these cartoons have to offer.
 
time sure does fly by... many of these posts make me feel so damn old.. you guys should appreciate youth you know!!
 
My first anime was... it kinda a mix between Out Law Star and and Neon Genesis Evangelion back when they were on Adult Swim =) by far i liked Out Law Star better =X
 
My first anime? Gosh, it was so long ago.
If I remember right it was eiter "General Daimos" or "Captain Tsubasa"
Daimos was, for sure, my first ever MECHA anime.
Meh, that's was good times *sigh*
 
The first anime I ever saw... hmm... I can't remember if it was Dragon Ball Z, or Sailor Moon... in any case, it was something on Toonami.



Barnes & Noble? What an odd coincidence, the Barnes & Noble I used to go to a lot had it's manga section near the bathroom... Why do they do that?
 
I saw Ninja Scroll the movie.. itz my first one... I bought the DVD frm my animation collage,... nd fallen instantly love in it... Frm that time I heard abt the channel name "animax" nd watchd many animes.... I recall there name as I was nt watch thm on routine....
 
The first anime I ever saw was a fan subbed version (decent quality) of Dirty Pair: The Eden Project. Remember, Adam Warren's American Dirty Pair was the one that got me into the manga style to begin with.

The very next thing I saw was Akira, and I drove on the freeway for thirty minutes to get to a theater that was showing. Still one of my all time favoirtes.

Not that I don't still love Kei and Yuri also. I still do, and I've even got the original novels now that they're out in English.
 
Today I've finally found the names of my first anime series :3 because my elder brother told me: Wonder Beat Scrumble and Cyber City Omaeda 808.
I think I was around 6, but I still remember the storyline and main charactersXD
 
My first anime was Ronin Warriors back when it was playing late night on the old WB cable channel. It was 1995 I believe.


Edit: unless you count Voltron: The Third Dimension on the saturday morning cartoons in like 90 or 91.
