I've had a copy of Ip Man for ages now - I must get round to watching it sometime !

It's an excellent film imo. One of the best i've seen in quite some time. It's back to basics. Little or no wires or special effects and full on fighting action. Just proper kicking, punching and breaking of limbs.
A little like Ong Bak in that respect.


Ip Man 2 was disappointing though.

A recent one that's always stuck in my head is the fight in 'Who Am I' - Jackie Chan. The way his opponents are timing each other is just class:

Kiss of the Dragon, in the hotel where Jet Li takes on anybody shooting at him and in the final scenes where he takes on all comers at the police station.

Seagal has some great fight scenes in many of his earlier films, the fight scene in the mall in Marked for Death and the final fight scene in Out For Justice.
