Your advice didn't work.. what now?

Thanks for your insight. Just today I have, at last, purchased Probiotics from the health food store. I got a brand called "New Chapter All-Flora." Here's a description from the bottle:

"All-Flora is a synergistic probiotic formula offering eight of the most well-researched and stable strains of friendly flora. These eight powerful probiotic allies have been carefully selected and blended in a unique fiber base of maximum balance and efficacy.
At the time of manufacture, there are 6 billion probiotic live cells in two capsules of All-Flora."

Here's the ingredients:

The bottle says to take both capsules on an empty stomach. I'm assuming first thing in the morning, just before breakfast, is sufficient for that? Sounds like a stupid question, but I have screwed these things up before, not being very bright and all that :o

I can get cranky too when I don't go. I don't know your whole story but coming from a different angle, it could be possible it has nothing to do with intake and has something to do with nerve signals-which could be related to that feeling in your neck..It might be time to see a doctor if this is not your normal .

What kind of neck/nerve-signalling problems are we talking about, which could cause constipation or other digestive issues?

thanks again,
Bill Z/Benit

Just out of curiousity, if one might have a blockage, would Magnesium Citrate still be okay to use??

I'm afraid if I take it I'll have the feeling to go but won't be able to, which is extremely uncomfortable.

Having tried and "failed" another bowel movement after not having one for 4 days, yet again, I'm ready to tear down the walls... this is frustrating.

The 3 stool softeners, twice a day suggestion is tempting but these things are not designed for longterm or excessive use, because they can cause magnesium/potassium deficiency. That might even be part of my problem.
