Young Adult Fantasy book suggestions?

I like fantasy books [usually kind of dark, like Prophecy of the Sisters]. I really like those that are kind of creepy/mysterious/dark, but not always. I usually like those that take place in either England or the northern part of the US in the late 1800s/early 1900s, because that setting, to me, seems like the epitome of class and magic.

Any suggestions?

[PLEASE NOT Twilight or anything that has vampires.]
