For my language investigation coursework, I'm comparing young adult books that engages with boys and books that engages with girls. I'm also looking at the stereotypes of boys and girls used by authors. I've got Fly on the Wall by E. Lockhart atm which portrays the stereotypes of boys but I've got none for girls atm. Fly on the Wall portrays the guys as ,well, a bit girly. So now, I'm trying to find books that portrays girls as manly. And I can't find any. HELP?
