YAZ or Yasmine?

I have a gyno appt at the end of the month and am thinking about changing my birthcontrol to try and help my acne. I have read that both Yaz and Yasmin are good for acne. Does anyone have an oppion on which works better, or know of another bc pill that's good for acne? ..something with low hormones, perferably.

I use Yasmin. It has been effective for me and I have been using it four 4+ years now.

My skin is great since I've been on yasmin, I was on yaz before but it was too low of a dose and I had my period for two months straight.
 
I've been on Yasmin for 4 years and I switched to Yaz and it was too low dose for me. It gave me the worst cramps I've ever had - and I NEVER got cramps before. It didn't work any better than Yasmin for my skin, either. My dr. says Yasmin is far better tolerated by most of his patients than Yaz anyway.
 
I have been on yasmin for probably about 9 months now and it has worked wonders for my skin. I used to get big painful pimples all along my jawline and in some other spots. I was on ortho tricyclen lo then but after reading about yasmin on here I figured I would take my chances. I absolutely love it. My skin has completely cleared up. Every once in a while I get a tiny little pimple here and there...but it's nothing compared to what it used to be like. My only problem with it is that I seem to get headaches the week that I'm taking the placebo pills. The other thing you might want to check out is if it's covered by your insurance. With mine it's not and I just found out today that it went for $51 a month to $54 a month. I was starting to think about switching to something cheaper, but then I remerabered what my skin used to be like and realized that I'm better off paying the $54 per month than going through that again.
