Well I did my interview yesterday (twas the 2nd one!) and have got through to the 3rd and final interview (honestly these bloody financial companies, just because they pay a salary about 30 to 40% above the rest of the market, they feel they can put you through 3 interviews sigh ......)
Anyways ..... Ive got to fill out some psychometric tests (presumably to judge whether im a psycho or not) and then go through the final interview to go over what Ive said etc .....
So I have to go back tomorrow afternoon and then hopefully by Friday I should finally know ......
My boss is getting well suspicious now about all this time off Ive had to take.
Isnt it stupid that when you want to look for another job you have to sneak around. Why cant it just be standard that you just say I need time off for interviews and then everyone knows where they stand. Its stupid you have to sneak around like a naughty schoolchild just cause you want to move on to something else.
Julius - LOL ....... mock me all you like. But you know darn well that if the going rate for your job is say 50 grand but a company out there is randomly paying 70 grand for the same job, then obviously you are going to have a lot of competition for that job. And you cant tell me you wouldnt want an extra 20k a year for effectively doing the same job you are doing now.
