I just recently got to take a look at a rd200 thats in great condition, only 5k miles on it wow! the only stipulation is that the bike has no plate, no registration.. and no pink slip...
the kid who is selling it I think is honest... he got it last year and is moving so hes getting rid of stuff... his iresponsibility and desire to own a bike with no plate/slips or anything reminds me of myself at his age, where I might buy something without thinking to deeply about it.
but now I'm more worried about those types of things having gone through enough headaches in mylife to worry properly about what I might have to go through to get a vehical like this registered for california.
can anyone shed some light on how dificult this might be? what types of hoops I might have to jump through and what types of penalties i might have to pay?
the bike as is, is being asked for 1700$.. any help in my decision to take on this type of purchase?
