Z Zachary K New member Jun 25, 2011 #1 I have a 1981 Yamaha SR185 and it idles fine but when its given gas it starts to pop. Any ideas?
J jo58 New member Jun 25, 2011 #2 sounds like ignition ,check ignition timing and spark plug ,ht lead , also it would be worth checking fuel systym dirt in carburetor and or blocked tap also check tank cap as a blocked breather hole could cause fuel starvation
