Yalta and Potsdam Conference?

"America was willing to "swallow" Soviet control of Manchuria and Korea as the price to be paid for the Soviet entrance into the war against Japan. This deal was solidified in the Allied conferences of Yalta and Potsdam in 1945".

Does this mean that America allowed Soviet to control Manchuria, or that America took over Soviet control of Manchuria?
