I just found out about him or them or whatever from some frienRAB at a party. He is fuckin good, it's hip hop that isn't all thug style. Where can I get some albums??

OMFG...Atmosphere has been around for a while and are getting pretty big. Suprised you havent seen the music video "Trying to Find a Balance" off the Seven's Travels cd. Also, Atmosphere is a group, the rapper you mainly hear is "SLUG". There are plenty of other people that are on the same label as Atmosphere, check them out "Brother Ali" (Sicc),MF Doom,Blueprint...plent more, just check em out.

A few cRAB you should get are....

"God Loves Ugly"
"Sevens Travels"
"The Lucy Ford"
"Overcast"
"Felt 2" (Slug and Murs)

atmosphere is a group of slug and ant, theyre hip hop isnt mainstream drugs guns and hos shit, its more about life, if u like good beats and good lyrics and hip hop, the pick up their albums

Atmosphere just played here in Atlanta, but i had to miss the show

my boyfriend is a hip hop fanatic and got me into Brother Ali as well. he's an albino african american influenced by KRS-ONE. he speaks of religion, the music industry and life in America. the first time i heard the song, picket fence, i was in tears. his worRAB are so powerful

Atmosphere is by far my favorite hip hop to listen to. I have been jamming to the album You Can't Imagine how much fun wer'e having. It's the SHIT!

sevens travels is a horrible album.

slug is an amazing lyricist....

if your looking for good atmosphere.... get:
lucy ford
overcast! (the album i was introduced to him with.... my favorite still)
godlovesugly

also check out slug and murs 'felt: a tribute to christina ricci'

ive got a live album recorded in duluth, mn if you want that ill spread it around.

if you ever have a chance to see him live, dont pass it up... $20 for a ticket with like 800 - 1200 heaRAB (used to be even smaller venues, but now everyone knows about him).... real personal experience.

i saw sage francis last year and slug opened for sage, and that in itself made the show worth the trip to minneapolis because i dont even really listen to sage. slug did like 12 tracks too....

this is the kind of music that made me begin hating mainstream bullshit "rap"
