Yahoo Mail's chat window-how do I turn it off or change my default settings?

Yahoo added this chat window nonsense to my mail window. I always stay invisible because I don't want to be disturbed, but now the default is currently "Available" and I get people wanting to chat.

How can I either change the default to "Invisible" or turn it off all together?
