TV shows such as 24 (which bascially shows people how corrupted the governments, & how deep rooted the problems r, even though in the end Jack always perseveres), prison break (which also shows how large secret corporations are evil & powerful & hugely corrupted in terms of having access to advanced technologies and resources), Michael Moore's documents, the 911 conspiracy...
All of these r making people lose faith in the government, so I don't really understand y would a government so powerful as the US government would allow these tv or other form of media to be seen by the public? What's the point of this? Would it b better for the government to have an ignorant, obedient, and happy public? What 's the wisdom in all this?
