xv8550 really frustrating me!

I am having rlly big problems with this phone. I have 'had' entered every serial nuraber I can find and I think this is the problem. The meid was like A000000xxxxxxx or something like that. I used the convertor and it turned it to a longer, all numerical nuraber set beginning with 286 I think. I enetered either of these into HO and didnt work. I have tried the esn located within the ##77647868550send menu. It didnt work either. HO in fact wouldnt even take it. I am rlly frustrated as I think the serial nuraber in HO is the problem as I have programmed everything possibly needed into the NAM programming and followed the WAP, MMS, and BREW writeups for the enV. Is there something I am missing. When HO does take the serial nuraber, it gives me a busy signal when I try to dial out and it always fails OTA. It has 1040 and spc 000000 and NAM programming is right. Thats why I think its within the MEID problem........Let me know if u got any ideas
 
ok did some research and what I found was that HO wouldnt take the psuedo hex esn when placed into the normal hex esn field. However I dont remeraber if I tried to place the pseudo dec esn into the regular dec esn field. Is this what should be done? does anyone have anyclue?
