xv6700 issue with cricket cust. service

Anyone had an issue similar to this?

I modded an xv6700 for a friend, and when he tried to activate the phone, they refused to allow him to have photo messaging. They said their system wouldn't allow them to add it for non-native hanRABets.

We resolved that issue by having them put his old phone back on the account, add the service, then change the ESN to the 6700 (it was in the same call we were switching the ESN, so luckily they didn't nail him for 2 esn changes.)

However, he called back a few days ago to add travel time, because he was leaving on a trip, and they told him again that the system wouldn't let them add it.

I KNOW this is BS, because I've added travel time to my phone since I put the 6700 on my account...

Any feedback/advice about how to handle this?
 
all you have to do is call again. because a jump mobile rep tried to do this crap to me and then i just called back and had another person do it
 
THat's what I told him to do.. I just thought it was odd that it's happened both of the times he's tried to call.... I wondered if maybe there was some block on his account, or if cricket recently implemented changes or something.
 
it's not that they are not allowed to add it, but a warning message pops up that says it will not work on a non cricket esn. they can add it, the rep might just have not known what exactly was going on.
