browsing around checking out the weather forecast and whatnot on my 6700 when i realized the battery needed changing. i swapped it out for a fresh one and went to use wap again, no dice. said it couldnt connect with current settings, etc... then it needed a password/username.

i got past that by using my phone nuraber and cricket for the username/password.

next i tried to send myself a text from AOL IM and it worked back/forth just fine.

tried to send a picture from my phone to my email address and it keeps getting returned with an error message.

upon further review, i noticed both my POP and IMAP are freaking gone from my phone! i would use those while in a wifi hotspot to check my AOL mail and my gmail, now they arent even in the phone anymore.

i guess my question is, what the heck did i do just by changing my battery. heck, i do this same thing a couple times a week without problems. its like i erased something when i pulled the battery.

should i expect this to happen again? i dont feel like redoing a bunch of junk when i have to change my darn battery.

had a q do almost the same thing. barrery started running low connected car charger then phone shows bootloader mode.had to reflash phone. guess the electronics freaked out during the low voltage situation. :befuddled

it seems to be working now. i didnt really do anything to fix it except the username/password thing. my email settings are still gone though but i can get that back by just setting it up again i guess. i have a backup saved on my card but it seems to be working again so im not too concerned.

thanks for the input.
