I am 17 years old and I want to buy a smartphone for Christmas. I am considering the nexus one and the xperia x10. I got my mind pretty set on the xperia especially now with the 2.1 OS but I am wondering how much shelf life has the xperia left. It is a fairly old phone. On the other hand there isn't a phone out there with a CPU greater than 1GH so I am thinking it's not so bad. If I get the xperia x10, will I be ok for another year or so? And if not, is the nexus one a better choice? (I know the Galaxy S would probably be the best choice but I cant get it in my area)
