I own a hp not a little more than two years old and got a recent notice that my computer was being attacked by a thousand plus viruses according to xp Internet security ( which according to it expires today (this was thursday) and wants me to upgrade to fix it) after buying norton 08 and being able to finally get on the Internet, I realized this was a virus and assumed it was gone. However, today it reappeared and according to my cable provider (I can't get on firefox, ie, iTunes, add/remove, and such even in safe mode!) I half to reinstall. I was just curious what this virus is and what can I do to prevent it, cause clearly norton doesn't work.
