Xolair & Immunotherapy?

Anyone out there tried starting Xolair for allergic asthma while in the middle of receiving immunotherapy shots? If so, what was your experience?
 
I've been on Xolair for over a year and am still receiving allergy shots (immunotherapy). No problems with asthma, but I do occasionally get short of breath when there is a lot of pollen/mold in the air.
I have gained a lot of weight and am not happy about it. But the same thing happened when I was taking prednisone. I've also had some problems with depression and wonder if it is related to the Xolair.
 
Thanks for your response. I hadn't considered weight gain. I still have quite a few lbs to lose that I put on this year from multiple rounRAB of steroiRAB.

Do you get your immunotherapy shots and Xolair shots at the same time? It looks like I'm going to have to go in every other week for Xolair shots and for my immunotherapy on opposite weeks. Basically shots every week again. And here, I thought I was past that.

I'll watch closely for other side effects. I'll keep you posted if I have any problems.
