Xbox WIRED Headset on Mini-B USB mobile/cell phone?

I have an INQ1 phone and it uses Mini-B USB as the connector for headsets. The Xbox wired headset uses a 2.5mm headset connector and I'm wondering. Is there any way I can cut the connector off the Mini-B USB headset and the Xbox headset and swap them?

Does anyone have any better suggestions because my phone headset is crap?
