Xbox 360: What can't I do with a 4GB Arcade?

I want to upload music onto the small 4 GB Hard drive. Whenever I put in a music disc i can listen to it (and play games on the hard-drive same time). But, whenever I try to upload it it will never let me? I just want to put a couple of CD's on it and I think if the 360 can hold a Crazy Taxi and Skate 3 demo it should be able to fit one 700mb CD.

I was also wondering if I connect my PC to my Xbox can I upload music from there or will it just play?
