I have a DG-16D2S-09C Philips Lite-on Drive for Xbox with the series 08 firmware version and i have noticed that everyone out there is selling drives with the 07 firmware version. I have asked a few people about this and have gotten no response but what i need to know is as long as you have the same model number does it matter what firmware version is? like my drive pcb has the 08 and if i bought a drive with the 07, can i put my board in it anyways?. I did also notice that the 07 firmware drive models are DG-16D2S Phillips Lite-on Drive for Xbox and the 08 firmware drive models are DG-16D2S-09C Phillips Lite-on Drive for Xbox with the difference of the -09c at the end of the model. I don't wanna buy the DG-16D2S Phillips Lite-on Drive if it's not gonna work.
