My Son wants to go wireless on his xbox360 he tells me that we need a wireless router a wireless modem and something that sticks in the xbox to pick up the signal. By the sounds of this it is going to costs a lot of money. is this the only option for going wireless.

xbox is already wireless, u need a wireless modem or a lan leed, pennys, but also you have to buy live card from game which costs 20 quid.

The 360 is wireless already.

The item you need first is actually wireless modem router (both names together). That would cost you about £30. Netgear products are a good place to start.

To play online you'd need an X-Box Live account. For which there are two options, silver which is free, or gold which I believe is £40 or £50 a year.

Of course one assumes that you already have an ISP at home, but if you dont try looking here for comparisons.
