Xbox 360 Connecting to Live Question.?

Ok, so I am getting a Xbox pretty soon. First question: What type should I get. I think I am going to get the Pro version. Is that good enough? I am not looking for something super flashy/fancy with tons of memory. Just something basic for gameing a lot. Second Question: Connecting to Live. I have a router which I connect to my Wii to play online, and I was wondering, what is better for 360. Connecting wired with a Ethernet cord, or Wireless and buying a network adapter for the 360 so I can connect. My 360 will be in my room, and that is sorta far away from the computer, so it would be hard to connect wired. So should I just get wireless then? My router is a good one, not to flashy, but a basic router. So can you guys help me out? Thanks
